Description:

The model 462 is a cantilevered steel beam designed for platform and process weighing. Its negligible off center loading error, high impact load resistance, virtual zero fatigue factor and effective waterproofing provide superior performance in all applications. Waterproofing is achieved through the use of a proprietary compound that completely covers the gage area. TRANS-ALLOY is used in the bending beam and is part of the reason for its high accuracy and impact load resistance. TRANS-ALLOY is a proprietary steel alloy with parameters affecting load cell performance that are better than other alloys frequently used in load cell manufacture. The 462 is also Factory Mutual approved and exceeds H-44 Class III requirements. All these features assure user satisfaction in the most demanding applications.
